What is the law for tinting car windows in the UK?
The UK window tinting laws cover only the rear windscreen and rear side windows. It is a legal requirement for vehicles with tinted windows to have a minimum of 75% VLT through the rear windshield and a minimum of 70% light through the front side windows.

Window film is applied wet and has a 12-24 hour curing period depending on the climate, because of this we advise not to open any sliding or wind-down windows during this time.
When the film has fully cured all windows should be able to be used without the film peeling.
When I come to sell my vehicle, can the film be removed at all?
Films can be removed from most windows easily without damage to the existing glass but care must be taken when removing film from windows that have demister, antenna or alarm wiring printed on the glass, give us a call if you are unsure.
Can I wait while the installation is in progress?
YES, we have a Reception and Waiting room where you can wait, drink coffee, tea and view our products.
What foil and manufacturer do you use?
We use only the best quality foils on the market, these are ceramic and carbon foils from the best manufacturers such as STEK USA and GLOBAL
How long does the window tint application take?
The duration of the window tinting procedure takes approximately 1 to 3 hours, depending on the type of vehicle and the number of windows being tinted.
How long do window tints last?
Windows tint films have limited life expectancies, with high-quality window films lasting between 15 to 20 years with proper care.
What are the different tint film percentages?
The window tint film percentages specify the amount of visible light transmission (VLT) passing through the window tints.
A lower VLT percentage means darker window tints and less amount of visible light can pass through the window tint films. compliance, the higher the VLT percentage, the lighter the window film, and more light can penetrate through the window tint.
The windows are removed or the elements disassemble?
