By accepting our quote, you have read and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
RK Car Design holds the right that the contents published on our website is correct. We reserve the right to change our pricing without notice.
By accepting any service through RK Car Design means they have understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

RK Car Design does not retain client?s credit card details on file. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Appointment arrangement can be made between the client and RK Car Design over the phone, email, in person or online. Our team will reply to the booking within a short time frame. Prices will be discussed over the phone or email and based on availability.

Vehicle Accessories
The customer must remove any personal items from the interior of the vehicle including the boot. RK Car Design will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, anything which is not removed will be cleaned around that area. Any items found in the vehicle will be returned.

Method of Payment
Payment for all services must be paid on completion of work carried out prior to the operator leaving the job. We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard, Diners Car & American Express) only.

When conducting a mobile car services, RK Car Design is not liable for any oil, grease, brake dust or any form of pollutants washed off the customers vehicle while detailing their vehicle that are left on the property that could or may have stained or damaged the driveway or lawn in any way. All products used by RK Car Design are environmentally friendly. RK Car Design is not liable for any physical damage done to the customer?s property such as structural damage that may have occurred while operating a motor vehicle on the property.

RK Car Design has sole discretion in determining the liability of any damage that the customer claims to have occurred while work was performed on the vehicle such as scratches, scuffs, dents, swirl marks as they may have been there prior to work commencing when the vehicle was dirty and they could not be seen.

It is in customer?s best interest to identify areas where prior damage exists, such as electrical parts, computer box and special engine compartment where water should not be used before RK Car Design starts their work.

RK Car Design does not take responsibility for the vehicle where existing problems are known before commencing the work. It is the customers responsibility to get those problems fixed before RK Car Design starts any work. If the pre-existing problem doesnt get fixed and any new problem occurs while detailing and could be related to pre-existing issue for which RK Car Design doesnt take liability or responsibility.

Once a service is book through RK Car Design, either directly in person, over the phone or online, the customer understands what services are involved and they fully accept the service. Before commencing the work, RK Car Design work once again informs their customers of the services involved.

As part of a detailing process, high pressure machine, buffing machine, vacuum and shampoo machines are used without which our jobs cannot be completed. Once interior detailing is completed, RK Car Design does not take any responsibility for seats still wet, carpets still wet and condensation in any electrical or related areas. The period of time that the treatment will last is dependent on the type of treatment performed and what environmental conditions the vehicle is exposed to.

When cleaning an engine bay RK Car Design only perform a mild steam clean and wipe off dust. No high pressure water will be used to clean the engine. If customer needs engine degreased and high pressure cleaned then they have to give written permission to RK Car Design prior to the work and no liability will be taken for any problems arising from this service.

RK Car Design has the right to ask for vehicle and hold it till the service agreed to is completed. Once the customer fully pays for service requested and invoice issued RK Car Design will return the car safely. If no payment is made RK Car Design has the right to hold the vehicle until full payment is made, unless prior arrangements are made.

Cancellation policy
Once the booking has been made the client has accepted the agreed price either via in person, by phone or by mail. For cancellation our charges are:

  • 48 hours before the due time won?t incur any charges.
    Any Deposit is not refundable

Refund policy
We normally dont accept advanced payment before we start the work, with the exception of deposit. We give our customers service for services the job and the price includes travel, time, labour, chemical and machinery costs and other related business costs. Once the service is completed the customer is given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and complete the sale. Once the detailing service has been completed the customer gets legally bound to pay RK Car Design. We give customers enough time to assess our work and do the payment. Once the sale is completed customers can?t get any refund for the service already provided. This is a service industry and once the service is already provided and completed no refund for change of mind or unsatisfactory work. Refund will only be accepted before our service is provided in cases like gift voucher or client has already paid in advance before the commencing of the job. In these cases refund will only be provided considering the above cancellation policy with original receipts provided.

RK Car Design offers our customers Professional Service Guaranteed.

After the completion of the job, the customer must inspect all work carried out prior to the operator leaving, any issues that need rectifying must be done before the detailer leaves. After the detailer has left and issues are brought up will incur additional charges based on travel time and cause of problem.


This warranty statement applies exclusively to installations or services done by RK Car Design.

RK Car Design offers a 12 month in-house warranty on all vehicle wraps, 

The expected performance life—that is, the length of time the wrap should look good and stay adhered—is up to 5-7  years if properly maintained  ( Dependent on the manufacturer )

The condition for obtaining a guarantee is compliance with the installer's instructions and an inspection visit after 7 days but not more than 14 days as well as compliance with T&C at rkcardesign.co.uk.  The date of the inspection visit is on the final invoice, which the customer receives when picking up the car .  All irregularities should also be reported during this time.  Failure to attend the control visit will result in loss of warranty.

Our comprehensive warranty covers all defects installation.  This includes full replacement of failed installation.

This warranty does not cover damage to the wrap or graphics from negligence, misuse, accidents, road damage, wear and tear, not proper washing, or any failure not a product of installation or materials. Elements that are constantly under any stress from daily use, or are in an area where they are more likely to be damaged from normal wear and tear are not covered with the warranty. These elements are, but not limited to: Door Handles, Boot Handles, Door Steps, Wheel Arches, Front and Rear bumpers, Roofs with opening glass are also not covered with the warranty. Any element claimed under the warranty will be investigated and it is solely up to a representative of RK Car Design  to make a decision on the future of the claim.

Non-painted panels including primer and plastics and also places with corrosion will not have any warranties applied.

Any elements that are painted not to an OEM standard will not be covered in the warranty. Elements with stone chips and very deep scratches are also excluded from being warranted.

RK Car Design does not take any responsibility for damage to the paintwork that occur due to removal of the vinyl. Paint may chip, rip or peel of alongside the vinyl at removal due to its age, wear and tear, condition, damage caused by stone chips, scratches and human interference. Vinyl may not provide 100% coverage of the original color, e.g. in hard-to-reach places

This warranty does not cover warrantable failures due to pre-existing damage to vehicles. This warranty does not cover a warrantable failure in the event that the client chooses to keep any/all emblems on a vehicle and to have them wrapped over as well as a change of mind or mistakes in the choice of color.

The car cannot be washed for a minimum of 3 days after collection.  Absolutely you should not use high pressure washers or automatic car washes, if the car is handed over for washing, make sure that the washing company has appropriate cosmetics for washing vinyl. Failure to comply with the above results in the loss of the warranty. If the car has an impregnated Ceramic Coating, please notify RK Car Design about it before starting work or you should remove it yourself. The removal service of Ceramic Coating at RK Car Design is subject to a fee of £ 149

All claims must be made within the 12 month warranty time frame and are subject to approval by a RK Car Design authorized representative.  In case of a warrantable failure, RK Car Design responsibility is limited solely to, at its option, repairing or replacing the defective wrap or parts of the wrap. Customer’s option for repair of warrantable failures is strictly limited to repair at a RK Car Design facility.  If the customer picks up the car and leaves the garage, it means that he has accepted the service by RK Car Design.

Materials used in warranty repairs will carry the same warranty coverage as the materials they replace, but the expiration dates will be the same as those of the original materials.  RK Car Design should use additional services of external companies, e.g. regeneration or painting. This warranty is the sole warranty made by RK Car Design in regards to our vehicle wrap products. RK Car Design  makes no other warranties, expressed or implied.

The customer is obliged to notify the insurance company about all modifications and DVLA if there is a more as 70% full color change of the car.  The customer is aware that all modifications, e.g. tinting: light, windscreen, side windows they may be illegal UK and RK Car Design does not accept any responsibility for this.

      Please take time to read the following in its entirety to completely understand the terms and conditions of essential factors when dealing with the purchase and maintenance of the window film material. You are solely responsible for reviewing our terms and conditions prior to submitting request to have work performed. We will begin work when approval has been provided per the completion and signature of our Customer Information Sheet and any additional requested documents.

      ACCURACY OF SPECIFICATIONS: Estimates are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided to us by you, the customer. If we discover after accepting the job or vehicle that modifications need to be made we will notify you immediately, at which time a decision will be made whether there will be additional costs and how you wish for us to proceed. Any verbal requests or orders by the customer will be accepted, but in the absence of supportive documentation, RK Car Design LTD will not be responsible for verbal mistakes. EVERYTHING MUST BE IN WRITING, RK Car Design LTD  will not accept responsibility for the inaccuracies in orders telephoned in by the customer. We make every effort to quote a job accurately; but in the even of unforeseen circumstances or costs, we will notify you if there will need to be cost adjustment or if delays will result.

        GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, TERMS OF PAYMENT, LEGAL FEES, AND DISPUTES: The customer agrees to make full payment prior to the release of the products or vehicle. The vehicle or products will not be released until full payment has been processed accordingly. Any invoice that is not paid at the time of order or delivery is considered past due and the customer is responsible for all collection fees including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs for unpaid balances at the interest rate of 18% per annum. This is not an expectation contract and we are not responsible for buyers’ remorse. By accepting the product or vehicle you are accepting the job as complete and that the performance is satisfactory. You are responsible for inspecting the product and or vehicle upon receipt. Customers shall identify to RK Car Design LTD in writing any dispute concerning an invoice within ten days of the date of the invoice. If disputes are not identified in writing within the ten-day time frame the customer has accepted the job and the invoice. Customers must contact RK Car Design LTD of any and all work in dispute, accompanied by written explanation. After investigation, if an error is found on our behalf we will make appropriate corrections.

RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle or articles left in vehicle in case of fire, theft, accident or any other cause beyond our control. We do not accept responsibility for consequential damages or loss of any kind related to the sale, installation or deliver of our products. It is the clients responsibility to read our Terms & Conditions available on our website prior to contacting RK Car Design LTD to perform any services. All quotations are valid for 30 days.

PAYMENT TERMS: Customer or assigned agent completing the Customer Information sheet agrees that they are the responsible party for payment of services requested. Customer or assigned agent agrees to make full payment prior to vehicle release and agree to be responsible for al collection fees including attorney fees and court costs for any unpaid balances at the interest rate of 18% per annum. Any custom ordered materials for the customer’s job is required to be paid for 100% prior to the order for the film before the work will be performed and are non-refundable. Any custom ordered window film for any project is paid for by the customer 100% prior to ordering the product. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS unless they are paid via certified funds and are pre-approved in writing by RK Car Design LTD. A fee of £35.00 will be charged for any returned checks, in addition to the amount due. Any request changes to the description of services stated above need to be in writing and any additional charges incurred will be charged accordingly. Customer will pay the remaining balance including any additional cost or fees upon completion of the job prior to release of the vehicle.

         CONDITION OF GLASS PRIOR TO WINDOW FILM INSTALLATION: Vehicles must be delivered to our location clean and free of grease, dirt, oil, dog hair, debris, and free from existing window film material. A cleaning charge of £50.00 per hour will be assessed for any additional cleaning or removal of existing window film material. RK Car Design LTD  is not responsible for the condition of the surface the car is brought to us in. Any existing scratches, cracks or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface damage or imperfections may damage the film, cause the film to fail prematurely or the window film material may not adhere to the surface at all. We are not responsible for broken windows if there is prior damage prior to installation. WE AR NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDITION OF THE GLASS/VEHICLE PRIOR TO THE WINDOW FILM BEING INSTALLED OR WHAT IS UNDERNEATH THE WINDOW FILM ONCE IT IS INSTALLED.

         RETURNS: Window film material is a non-returnable item once the material is ordered, cut and or installed per the customer’s personal request. Any custom ordered window film for any project is paid for by the customer 100% prior to ordering the product. If the job is cancelled or the customer does not want the product for any reason the film cost is non-refundable. All returns are at the discretion of RK Car Design LTD .If the product is a returnable item there is a 25% restocking fee for the return and will be deducted from the initial cost of the product upon the return if applicable. If an issue arises the customer must submit their complaint in writing and give RK Car Design LTD the opportunity to see the issue and try and resolve the issue prior to pursuing any legal actions. Since all window film installations are customized to the customers specifications RK Car Design LTD must be given the opportunity to address any issues, including removal and reinstallation, before the client issues a credit card charge backs or check cancellations. In the event that the client does request a credit card charge back or check cancellation, the customer will be liable for all legal fees and or additional costs that were incurred to RK Car Design LTD). If a credit card dispute is decided in the favor of RK Car Design LTD and we suffer any losses due to the client’s actions the client is liable for all legal fees, court costs, etc. If the customer fails to make full payment on an invoice then the customer authorizes RK Car Design LTD to remove the window film from the windows if installed. SINCE WINDOW FILM IS CUSTOM INSTALLED TO THE CUSTOMERS SPECIFICATIONS ONCE THE FILM IS CUT AND OR INSTALLED ALL CONTRACTS ARE FINAL AND NO MONETARY REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

        ESTIMATES: Estimates are good faith estimates and are based on the current information RK Car Design LTD has at the time the estimates are given. Estimates given are good for 30 days and are subject to change.

VEHICLE INSPECTION/CONDITION: RK Car Design LTD will complete a pre-inspection the day the car is delivered and alert the customer of any concerns prior to work being performed. We will also perform a post-inspection once the vehicle is completed prior to the release of the vehicle.

RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for the condition of the surface the of the vehicle or the glass prior to installation. Any existing scratches, cracks or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface damage or imperfections may damage the film, cause the film to fail prematurely or the window film material may not adhere to the surface at all. We are not responsible for broken windows if there is existing damage prior to installation.

CONTENT: We reserve the right to refuse any work or vehicle for any reason.

         INSTALLATIONS: Window film is a pliable material that is made to be installed on glass. We make every effort to make look as clean and seamless as possible, however, there may certain surfaces that window film will not adhere to such as plastic, rubber, dot matrix, etc. and customers are not advised to install on such areas. If the customer requests that these areas be installed we are not responsible for the material not sticking or adhering to those surfaces and the manufacture will not warranty such items.

Per the IWFA (International Window Film Association) The glass with applied films shall be viewed at right angles to the glass from the room side and at a distance no less than six (6) feet. Viewing shall be carried out in natural daylight, not in direct sun light. The installation is deemed acceptable if all of the following are unobtrusive (effects during 30-60 day cure time should be disregarded). Dirt Particles, Hair and Fibers, Adhesive Gels, Fingerprints, Air Bubbles, Water Haze, Scores and Scratches, Film Distortion, Creases, Edge Lifting, Nicks and Tears. If any of these conditions still exist after 30-60 days we request the customer return at such time to have us evaluate the film. WE CANNOT DO AN INSPECTION OVER THE PHONE, VIA EMAIL OR THROUGH PICTURES; WE MUST SEE THE VEHICLE/GLASS AT OUR LOCATION FOR INSPECTION.


While we make every effort to get the film as close to the edges as we can, when window film is installed there may be slight gaps. This allows for the water used in the installation to be squeegeed out. This also ensures that the film edges are not raised up by contact with the frame margin, dot matrix or other moldings, etc. Contact with the frame, dot matrix or moldings can lead to peeling of the film. A gap may also exist due to the type of glass or windows that the film is installed on, which RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for.


Installation time is based upon many factors including but not limited to, film selected, curing time, places where window film is being installed, size of windows, size of vehicle, complexity of installation areas and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. We will make every effort to give reasonable time frames for instillation but reserve the right to change them at any time for any reason.

In most cases bubbles and haziness will subside in the 30-60 day cure time. We DO NOT require a 30-60 day check-up for window film. However if you see any areas of concern please return to our location with the vehicle so we can see the vehicle first hand and to be able to address any issues at that time. If you do not return within the 30-60 day required time frame to address any issues we are not responsible for the condition of the window film material or any installation issues. RK Car Design LTD is the installation company only we are not the manufacture.

        REMOVALS: All removals for window film are quoted separately and are based on a per hour basis. Window film removal can be very time consuming and costly and is billed as such. RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for the condition of the glass underneath the film being removed or for any damage that occurs when such material is removed from the glass/vehicle. RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for any damage that occurs to the vehicle at the owner’s request.

       WARRANTY AND MATERIALS: All materials are installed per the customer or authorized representatives request. We are not the manufacture of the product and all warranties are offered through the manufacture of the product the customer specifically ordered. For warranty information you must visit the manufacture website or brochure for specific information regarding the product(s) you ordered. RK Car Design LTD  is the installer of the product, not the manufacture. However, if there is something wrong with the product our manufactures do stand behind their products as do we, so please do not hesitate to contact us. Damage done to the film by the customer or any third party is not a warranty issue and will not be covered as such. RK Car Design LTD is not liable for services that are contracted out to other facilities for work to be performed. If an issue arises the customer must contact that specific company directly for any warranty issues or concerns regarding that companies product or services.

        AFTER CARE: Do not roll the windows down for the first 3-5 days after film is installed. You will see bubbles and haziness (the moisture between the glass and the film) in the windows until the film has fully cured. This can take 2-10 days depending upon the type of film you select and the environment your vehicle is stored in. Avoid using abrasive washing clothes as well as drying towels when cleaning the film. Do not use any ammonia-based products to clean the film, only use tint safe products. Be sure to return for your free 2-10 day check-up (ONLY IF NECESSARY). If you do need to return for any reason WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE BRING A                FRESHLY CLEANED CAR TO THE CHECK-UP SO WE CAN SEE AND ADDRESS ALL AREAS AT THAT TIME. We must physically see the vehicle or glass in person in order to address any issues, phone conversations, emails, or pictures will not suffice.

          VEHICLE STORAGE FEES: Vehicles left beyond the authorized pickup day (definition of authorized pickup day: is the date vehicle is ready to be picked up and the client has been notified) will be charged £50.00 per day, per occupied space, until the vehicle or vehicles have been picked up and paid for.

        VEHICLE MAINTENANCE/TOWING/TRANSPORTATION, ETC.: RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for the vehicles maintenance, condition or any mechanical malfunctions that may occur when the vehicle is in RK Car Design LTD  possession. If a vehicle needs to be repaired or taken to a repair shop / dealership for any reason, including but not limited to: maintenance, recalls, electronic malfunctions, parts, etc. RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for any of the costs and is the owners sole responsibility to pay for those costs. RK Car Design LTD has permission to operate customers vehicle for services requested in work order. Operation of vehicles may include delivery, testing, and or outsourcing at difference locations.

          CHANGES/CORRECTIONS/ERRORS: We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, prices, omissions, descriptions, and errors relating to products, productions, availability and update information at anytime without prior notice.

         ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement may not be varied other than in writing, executed by the duly authorized representative of both parties. Clients and or authorized representative acknowledge that they have read and understand the terms and conditions and agree to accept these prices, fees, charges, conditions, and specifications listed herein and authorize RK Car Design LTD to perform all work as specified. Customer understands that we are not the manufacture of the products and that we do not guarantee the quality of the products provided to us by the manufacture. Customer or assigned agent agrees not to do harm to RK Car Design LTD by way of slander, via in-person, over the phone, in writing (published words), or by instructing other to do so as well. Any published statements made by a customer or its assigned agent must be approved by RK Car Design LTD prior to publication. In the event of any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the information described in these Terms & Conditions all parties agree to resolution by Mediation/Binding Arbitration. The Mediation/Binding Arbitration will be administered in UNITED KINGDOM pursuant to comprehensive mediation and arbitration rules and procedures. If customer or assigned agent takes legal action against RK Car Design LTD for any of the information contained in this agreement the customer or assigned agent agrees to bear all legal fees and court costs. The validity and enforceability of this agreement will be interpreted in accordance with the laws in UNITED KINGDOM applicable to agreements entered in to and services performed in UNITED KINGDOM. If we must retain attorneys for any reason, we will be entitled to reasonable attorneys fees, court costs, administrative fees and interest at the maximum rate permitted by law.

           I t is under costumer obligation to check  the UK law and DVLA regulations regarding the services he asks for, RK Car Design LTD is not responsible for any Mot failures or any insurance failures or accidents occured  by opting for services that are not road legal (example: front windows tinted, front lights tinted etc.).

Thank you for purchasing a professionally applied Gtechniq coating which, if correctly applied and properly cared for, will ensure that your vehicle’s paintwork retains its showroom condition for years to come.


This guarantee applies to the following professionally applied coatings for the time periods set out below:

We guarantee that the above coatings will not stain or become discoloured.  But If they do, then we will repair the damaged area(s) and re-apply the coating without charge.


Note:  To uphold your Gtechniq guarantee you must visit the Gtechniq Accredited Detailer who applied your original coatings every 12 months during the period of you guarantee – unless you have changed address, if this is the  case please email guarantee@gtechniq.com. This is so that they can inspect your vehicle’s finish and give you advice on the maintenance of your car. This inspection is free of charge and can be arranged at a time convenient to you.


Please note this inspection does not cover any valeting and that your car should be sufficiently clean for it to be carried out.


This guarantee will not cover:

  • damage by collision, accident, scratches, abrasions, vandalism, stone chipping, burns, other paint/coatings or chemicals not designed for use on automotive paint

  • rust damage

  • application of the coating to matte or satin paint finishes

  • application of the coating other than to the exterior paintwork of a car

  • damage caused by the application of any other coating or product over the Gtechniq coating

  • defective application of the coating

  • car manufacturer defects or work carried out to the car prior to the coating application which affects the finish of the paintwork resulting in: 

    • paint imperfections including paintwork flaking or peeling

    • foreign matter in the paint

    • an orange peel effect (paintwork appears dappled or pitted)

    • clearcoat separation 


Note:  This guarantee applies to the coatings set out in the above table only and is non-transferable.  This guarantee will not apply:

  • If the coating was applied by a non-Accredited Detailer

  • If you previously made a claim under this guarantee on two occasions

  • The damage takes place in a country which was not the place of purchase or where we do not distribute the coating at the time of purchase by you

  • Whilst we are not liable for defective product application, if you have used a technician approved by us and you are unhappy both with the quality of workmanship and the technician failing to rectify, then, provided you notify us within 30 days of application of the coating by the technician,  we will contact the them on your behalf and help you, if we can, to reach a  satisfactory and fair resolution

  • You do not supply us with your guarantee authentication code 


This guarantee does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Contracts regulations in relation to faulty or mis-described goods.
